Celebrating 30 years of Cefetra

Celebrating 30 years of Cefetra

1 September 2022

This October, Cefetra celebrated its 30th birthday in style.

Held at the stunning Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery in Glasgow. Over 280 staff, suppliers, customers and special guests were all invited to come together to celebrate in style.

The Kelvingrove was opened in 1901 and is currently home to 22 galleries where you can discover everything from art to animals, Ancient Egypt to Charles Rennie Mackintosh and much more.

Following a small drinks reception on the balcony overlooking the distinguished main hall, everyone moved downstairs to sit down for dinner.

Andrew Mackay, Cefetra Ltd’s Managing Director welcomed everyone and handed over to Markus Pöllinger from Baywa AG (Cefetra’s parent company). The third speaker of the night was Daan Vriens, Chief Executive Officer of the Cefetra Group. Both Markus and Daan commented on the success of the company over the last 30 years, the history of the company and what the future holds.

After the speeches followed a song specially written and sung by one of Cefetra’s execution staff, Mary Meikle. Superbly composed and created many laughs throughout the room.

The dinner was followed in traditional Scottish style by some delightful Highland dancing. The evening finished with everyone receiving a party bag which included a piece of cake and shortbread supplied by Carr’s Flour Mills and a special bottle of Cefetra 30th gin supplied by Campsie Gin.

Thank you to everyone who joins us on the evening, everyone who helped make the evening a success and to everyone who has supported Cefetra over the last 30 years. None of this would have been possible without you.
