Meet the Team
We continue to shine the spotlight on the next generation at Cefetra.
3 December 2020
As we near to the end of the year we would like to celebrate the amazing new starters and graduates that we’ve featured over the past few months. They may have been embarking on new journeys at Cefetra during incredibly uncertain times, but they have all adapted and immersed themselves into the Cefetra culture with ease, becoming part of a dedicated team.
A massive thank you to all our graduate and new starters of providing us with some valuable insights as they thrive in their new roles and grow together in the Agricultural sector.

What do you love most about your job?
The agricultural sector is an interesting sector to be part of.
Five words that describe you?
Kind
Cheery
Organised
Dedicated
Motivated
Where did you join from (if from College or Uni what did you study?
I originally worked for a family business in photography, studying nights at home for my AAT.
I touched on finance then which was a passion of mine, so I thought it was time to get my qualifications to become an accountant. Spring felt it was the right time and Cefetra was the perfect match!
14 weeks and 3 months in and I’m gaining more confidence. It has obviously been hard starting a new job during this and building work connections in person rather than WhatsApp- but the business has been highly adaptable. Most people are back in the office now on some level.
What area are you working in at Cefetra?
I’m a Financial Assistant and sorting out the reports, setting up payments for customers and suppliers, Europeans app and the trade side too.
Tell us what you love about your role?
The team is amazing, everyone has helped me feel settled in, it’s different dealing with accounts in real life compared to studying it. There is a lot to learn about this company – all the sub-divisions and plans for future are of real interest to me. I’ve always been ambitious so it’s great to be part of an ambitious company where everyone bounces off each other.
What are your aspirations?
Level 4 in AET move onto ACC, qualified chartered accountant. Either work in accountancy.
How have you got on with working from home in 2020?
Settled to it with no issues. The business has adapted well, I’m learning new techniques in the office, that you can use at home too.
What’s it like to work at Cefetra how would you describe the work culture?
Cefetra culture is great! The team helped to make it a smooth process starting a new job in the midst of a pandemic.
